Today I received my pupil Test figures from April 2014 through until March 31st 2015.

 

• The national average fault markings for candidates presented by ADI’s in 2014/15 are

 

Average Driver Faults	Average Serious Faults	Average Dangerous Faults	Pass Rate (%)
5.88	0.85	0.08	47.6

 

• The 10 most common reasons for a candidate failing the practical driving test where presented by an ADI are:-

Observation at Junctions Response to signs – Traffic lights

Use of mirrors Normal road positioning

Steering control Safety when moving off

Turning right at junctions Control when reverse parking
